Second in a series of books Nash published on the history of California, which also included John Bidwell's A Journey to California,and Guillermo Prieto's San Francisco in the Seventies. Binding is 8vo., quarter cloth with marble paper-covered boards, paper spine label, dust jacket is slightly ripped and missing some pieces at the top.
